Margaret Eldridge AM. About the Author Ellyse Tran started painting at the age of five. For the past five years, she has developed her skills in oil paintings. Since she was five she has created lovely arts as gifts to her family, uncles, aunties, teachers and friends for special occasions of their lives. She is currently in grade eight. After school and when not painting, she studies with her Papa or plays with her little sister, aged four. She also loves swimming. She was the 2018 School Captain of the Villawood North Public School. She has given speeches and read at special events to promote Vietnamese culture in Australia and to assist her auntie Minh Hien to raise funds for charity organisations such as the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR) and the Motor Neurone Disease (MND) Association of Tasmania since she was 10.Hien Minh Thi Tran (Minh Hien) is an author and an educational consultant. She holds eight university qualifications in the fields of higher education, engineering, accounting, commerce, management and writing. She was selected to participate in the ACT Writers Centre's 2019 Hardcopy National Professional Development Program to write her memoir. Her draft memoir 'was ranked in the top 10% of all Next Chapter submissions in 2019.' In 2006, she was awarded the Australian Society of Authors Mentorship to write 'My Heritage: Vietnam Fatherland Motherland'. She is featured in the 2008 Who's Who in Tasmania. She was working in various professions and industries for three decades. She loves to record life experiences through writing.Farshid Anvari is a researcher, an engineer and an educational consultant. He loves Vietnam. In the past 28 years he has travelled regularly to Vietnam. In Vietnam apart from learning Vietnamese culture, doing charity and teaching activities, he has presented his research papers at international conferences held in Saigon, Nha Trang, Tam Ky and Hue. He was working in various industries in Melbourne, Hobart and Sydney for three decades. He loves to capture the beauty and happiness of life through photography.
