Die Grundlage fr diese Studienarbeit bilden folglich der Messebesuch und die dabei gesammelten Eindrcke und Informationen sowie die Materialien der Messestnde. Zustzlich wurde aus der aktuellen Fachliteratur der derzeitige Forschungsstand zum Themenbereich recherchiert. Inhaltlich behandeln die folgenden Seiten den groen Themenbereich des Stdtetourismus mit den Schwerpunkten Begriffsdefinition, Forschungsstand, Stdtemarketing und einem beispielhaften Vergleich dreier Stdte auf Basis derer Messeprsenz auf der ITB. Zustzlich zur Bearbeitung des Inhaltes hat diese Studienarbeit den Zweck, eine bersicht ber die gesammelten Unterlagen und ber die recherchierten Materialien zu geben, um so Interessierten, die sich mit dem Themenbereich befassen, ein aktuellen berblick sowie Anregungen fr Quellen zu bieten. Neben den angegebenen Quellen haben wir versucht, auch unsere eigenen Erfahrungen und Sichtweisen in diese Arbeit mit einflieen zu lassen.
