Der Einsatz von Handhabungssystemen in Fertigungen, die in Reinrumen stattfinden, gewinnt aus Grnden der Kontaminationsminimierung zunehmend an Bedeutung. Die eingesetzten Systeme basieren in der Regel auf funktionalen Gesichtspunkten. In der vorliegenden Verffentlichung wird eine Memethode zur Lokalisierung von Partikelquellen an Handhabungssystemen aufgezeigt. Mit Hilfe dieser Memethodik werden die wesentlichen Baugruppen von Handhabungssystemen bezglich ihrer Partikelemission untersucht sowie Modifikationen zum Zwecke der Minimierung der Partikelemission entwickelt. Die wesentlichen Erkenntnisse der zugrundeliegenden Untersuchungen werden in 10 Richtlinien zusammengefat. Mit deren Anwendung ist es mglich, reinraumtaugliche Handhabungssysteme zu entwickeln. Zur Lokalisierung von Schwachstellen steht die spezielle Memethodik zur Verfgung. Mit Hilfe dieser beiden Instrumentarien ist es mglich, ein optimales System mit minimaler Partikelemission aufzubauen.
