Generally the problems of children were homecentered. The disturbance in the home is usually reflected in the learning and social activities of the school. So the school adjustment is very necessary. The personal and emotional problems of individual should be due to need for security, recognition, acceptance etc, at home and also at school which leads to more adjustment. These problems had rooted in their childhood years. The main intention of the study is to find the relation of guidance needs of Intermediate students with Gender, Management, Year of study, Locality, academic achievement, Caste, Age, Annual income, Fathers education, Fathers occupation, Mothers education, Mothers occupation, Type of family, Residence, Size of the family. In this study different types of statistical techniques are used Frequency Distribution Characteristics, Critical Ratio and One Way ANOVA. Data was collected from 320 Intermediate students in Chittoor district. This book is more useful to the teachers, administrators, counselors, parents and researchers. I do not know to what extent I have succeeded in my attempt, but I feel this book is more useful to all.
