Among the elements of Hanne Darboven's title homage are "Picassoesque" handpainted frames used by a Polish company on reproductions of Woman in Turkish Dress, and a brass goat, which her own goat Micky may have cocreated. By alluding to Picasso's use of a goat motif and connecting his late period with her early one, she argues that the repetitiveness of Picasso's work in the later years revealed the limitations of painting, in contrast to the limitless possibilities of the repetition inherent in her own conceptual style. This updated and expanded reprise of the title installation, commissioned on its tenth anniversary by the Deutsche Guggenheim, envelops the viewer in a sea of Darboven's signature text panels, 270 of which cover the walls and the ceiling of the entrance to the exhibition. They are accompanied by a series of sculptures and an enclosed CD recording of Opus 60, her distinctive musical piece for 120 voices.
