I was really into the story until the last few chapters, which felt rushed. The buildup was great, but the resolution didn't satisfy me. Still, I enjoyed the journey leading up to it. Just a mixed bag for me!

A solid addition to the genre
I enjoyed 'Hardboiled and Hard Luck' for its rich storytelling and relatable characters. It’s not perfect but offers a lot for any fan of modern noir. I’d consider reading more from this author.
