The story had some exciting moments, but I felt like it dragged in some parts. The characters are unique, and I enjoyed the southern setting, but it could have been tighter. Still, a decent read if you like a mix of mystery and humor.

I picked up 'Hap and Leonard' because I'm a fan of Joe R. Lansdale. The characters are super relatable and the humor is spot on! I finished it in a couple of days because I just couldn't put it down. Definitely worth it for any thriller lover!

I really enjoyed this book! The plot twists kept me guessing until the end. Hap and Leonard have such great chemistry, and it felt like I was right there with them. Perfect book for a cozy weekend!

Not what I expected
I thought 'Hap and Leonard' would be a nonstop action thriller, but it was more character-driven. I appreciate that, but it took me a while to get into it. The writing is nice, but it wasn't quite my style.

I liked the characters and the humor in 'Hap and Leonard', but some chapters felt slow. I found myself skimming a bit. Still, there were enough engaging moments that I want to try the next one in the series!
