In a small Tennessee community, a young man of twentythree was found dead. It was said to be suicide, but his mother rejected that explanation. Through rhythmic, informal poems, June Keatts Wiggins expresses the grief of losing loved ones and the unwelcomed solitude she found when she discovered that searching for answers leads nowhere. Inspired by the death of her beloved son Tim, Hear our Cries is an outreach to others who have suffered sorrowthose left lonely by a child's death and those subjected to abuse. Narratives of her faith that God will one day help her understand her son's untimely death, these poems record her journey to peace and in the process, they give hope for healing to others who have suffered the death of a loved one.
