Mikko Heikkinen and Markku Komonen are the most important architects in postAalto Finland. Among the projects in this book are the Embassy of Finland in Washington, D.C. (their first building in the United States); the airport in Rovaniemi, Finland; the Heureka Science Center in Vantaa, Finland; and the new corporate headquarters for McDonald's in Helsinki.
