La hidrogenacin parcial de alquinos tiene importancia a nivel industrial y acadmico. Las industrias tales como la petroqumica, farmacolgica y agroqumica usan estos compuestos como materias primas. Los catalizadores comerciales tpicos contienen paladio. La bsqueda de catalizadores econmicos, que sean activos y selectivos para la produccin de alquenos va la hidrogenacin parcial de alquinos es un desafo importante. Este trabajo se enfoca el estudio de la reaccin de hidrogenacin estereoselectiva de un alquino no terminal (3hexino) mediante el uso de catalizadores de baja carga mono y bimetlicos de Pd, Ni y W soportados sobre gamaalmina. Se analiza el efecto del precursor metlico, temperatura de reaccin y por ltimo del agregado de un segundo metal ms barato sobre la actividad y selectividad al (Z)estereoismero del alqueno, producto deseado utilizado como materia prima de distintos procesos de Qumica Fina. Este libro deseamos sea de utilidad tanto para estudiantes que se estn iniciando en el mundo de la qumica como para profesionales vinculados a la industria petroqumica.
