Highland Trails is a guide to scenic paths of Northeast Tennessee, Western North Carolina, and Southwest Virginia. The trails include tumbling streams and picturesque waterfalls, plus mountain crests with spectacular panoramic views. The primary focus is to assist the casual hiker in locating walks and enjoying the Southern Appalachian Highlands outdoors.
