I bought this book for my 12-year-old son who's really interested in the outdoors. He loved it! The illustrations and easy-to-understand explanations made it fun for him to learn about camping and hiking. Great starter book!

Informative but Lacking Depth
I found 'An Introduction to Camping, Hiking, and Backpacking' to be a decent read, but it felt a bit surface-level for experienced campers. There are some useful insights, but I was hoping for more detailed guides in certain areas. Still, it's good for newbies!

Not What I Expected
I had high hopes for this book, but it didn't quite meet them. The layout seemed a bit cluttered and some sections repeated information. I wanted more detailed guidance on backpacking specifically. Disappointed, but maybe others will find it helpful.
