These shawls have unique designs and colour combinations. Designs are generally geometrical and influenced by the household surroundings and nature. The weaving of Kullu shawls is not restricted to one community in Himachal Pradesh, it is deep rooted in daily life of the people and people irrespective of their caste and status weave the shawls.
