Nancy Shoap lives in the small town of Walnut Bottom, Pennsylvania with her husband Dave and their cat Ace. "With God's Help" was the first story Nancy wrote and had published by Guideposts in 2006. It was part of the collection in the exclusive series, "When Miracles Happen." The story of Ace was about the miracles that God had performed. They were both physical and spiritual. It was the inspiration to write this book of "His Everyday Promises." All these true stories are experiences encountered in everyday life by friends and family. Her pastor recommends these be used as sermon illustrations. Nancy describes herself as an ordinary person who was a willing vessel for God to use to write these stories. As you read them may you be better attuned to the miraculous possibilities in your own life. May each one be an encouragement to overcome life's adversities by trusting God and living life one day at a time.
