About the Author Cornelius Castoriadis (19221997) est arriv en France en 1945, aprs des tudes de philosophie, dconomie et de droit Athnes. Il fut cofondateur et animateur du groupe et de la revue Socialisme ou Barbarie (19491965), ses crits de cette priode ont t rdits dans la collection 10/18 (19741979) ; conomiste lOCDE (19481970) ; directeur dtudes lEHESS (19801995) ; psychanalyste (19731997).Ces textes sont runis, prsents et annots par Nicolas Poirier. N en 1969, Nicolas Poirier enseigne la philosophie dans le secondaire. Il est l''auteur de Castoriadis. L''imaginaire radical (PUF, 2004). Il vient de soutenir une thse de Science politique sous la direction de Miguel Abensour sur l''ontologie politique de Castoriadis.
