I liked the book overall, but it took a while to get into the story. The first few chapters felt a bit slow, and I almost gave up. However, once I got past that, it picked up and became pretty engaging. I was hoping for more action earlier on though.

A nostalgic read for fantasy lovers
If you're into epic fantasy, you can't miss this book! The Tillerman Cycle really pulls you in with its rich storytelling. I bought it for my teenage daughter who loves this genre, and she couldn't put it down. The characters are memorable and the plot twists keep you on your toes!

Disappointed with the ending
I was really excited to read this because I've heard great things about the series, but I have to say the ending left me hanging. It felt rushed compared to the rest of the book. I don’t know if I will pick up the next one, honestly.
