When I wrote my book, HospitalityKentucky Style, I split the book into two parts. The first part was entitled The Kentucky Heritage Grand Tour. I identified sixty of Kentuckys most important historical sites, sketched a picture of the site and then revealed the reason that the site was so important to Kentucky. I wanted every Kentuckian to know where these sites were and to revel in their contribution to our Kentucky life. The second part of the book I entitled, Kentucky Fine Foods and Spirits. In this cookbook portion of HospitalityKentucky Style I wanted to share the Kentucky simply elegant cooking and entertaining that has helped to make us so famous. And to be certain, so much of our cooking is enhanced by having fine aged Kentucky Bourbon whiskey as an ingredient and these recipes are in my book.Colonel Michael Masters, "The Host of Kentucky" (author)
