How To Become Rich Telugu Edition. Lakshmi Is Worshipped As The Goddess Of Wealth. Her Arrival Is Considered Auspicious, While Her Departure Is Bad And Inauspicious. In Temples, Gods Are Bedecked With Jewels; During Festivals, Our Houses Are Decorated With Flowers, Lamps And Lakshmis Footprints. Clearly, She Is A Much-Desired Goddess. Yet, Some Friends And Relatives, Even Gurus, Tell Us Not To Be Money-Minded, Or That It Is Wrong To Equate Lakshmi With Money Because Lakshmi Is Spiritual And Money Is Material. Why This Mockery Of Money? Why Are We Driving Lakshmi Out Of India Instead Of Inviting Her Lovingly Into Our Lives? How To Become Rich Is A Simple Retelling Of The Stories Of Lakshmi Found In The Vedas And Puranas. Devdutt Pattanaik Deftly Explains What Hinduism Says About Economics At A Personal Level As Well As At The Social Level.

While the book gave some good basic concepts about becoming wealthy, I expected more detailed case studies or examples. As a Telugu reader, I appreciate the language used, but I was hoping for more actionable steps. It’s not bad for the price, just a bit surface-level for my taste.

Disappointing content quality
Unfortunately, this book didn’t live up to my expectations. The content felt too generic, and some parts were hard to follow. I had high hopes being a Telugu speaker, but it didn’t really offer anything new or insightful. I wouldn’t recommend it.

Interesting insights for Telugu speakers
I found this book quite engaging! The tips on financial management were really helpful, especially since it's written in Telugu. It feels good to read about wealth-building strategies in my own language. A few examples could be more practical, though, but overall, worth a read!
