Eddie also served as the assistant head basketball at Seattle University from 1978 to 1980. During his playing days, Eddie was an AllAmerican basketball player at Seattle University. After his senior season, he was the number one draft choice(4th pick overall) of the Detroit Pistons of the National Basketball Association(N.B.A.). He went on to play nine seasons in the N.B.A. During his playing days Eddie was known as 'The Man With The Golden Arm' because of his amazing shooting ability.
