Neben dem Schwerpunkt der Aufklrung komplexer auditiver Mechanismen widmet sich diese Arbeit mit konzeptionellen und experimentellen Anstzen dem Ziel, grundlegende Methoden der audiologischen Diagnostik weiter zu entwickeln. Im Bereich der auditorischen Wahrnehmung wird ein dynamischer, adaptiver Prozess nachgewiesen, der das Perzept einer komplexen akustischen Szene durch geeignete akustische Stimulation moduliert. Bei der Versorgung von schwerhrigen Patienten mit einem knochenverankerten Hrsystem wurde durch die Messung akustisch evozierter Potentiale gezeigt, dass sich die individuellen Schwellen bei Stimulation ber BAHA bei allen Probanden sicher bestimmen lassen und eine objektive Aussage ber den Versorgungserfolg ermglichen. Fr CochleaImplantatTrger wurde ein LogatomDiskriminationstest entwickelt, in einer experimentellen Studie evaluiert und mit den Ergebnissen der Messung ereigniskorrelierter Potentiale verglichen. Die individuelle Diskriminationsleistung kann bei CITrgern mit diesem Test gut beurteilt werden. Abschlieend wird ein neuer Test zur Messung der Unterscheidungsleistung fr Klangfarbe vorgestellt.
