This study has attempted to unearth the paramount dimensions of HR practices and procedures, their repercussions that need coherent and committed efforts, by crafting plans and polices of strategic impact. Policies must be guided by sound research and the critical problems can be resolved in a much more ingenious manner. This study endeavors to explore the HR Practices with an intention to find out that to what extent Human Resource (HR) practices and policies are implemented and in practice in the industrial estate of Jamrud Road, Peshawar which is the largest industrial estate in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. This research attempts to highlights the importance of human resource for an organization, and why there is a need to implement human resource management practices in today's organizations. As a result of this research we got the major findings which are not very encouraging and the most disappointing thing is that majority of the industries lack proper HR departments to keep a check on the implementation of HR practices to increase the efficiency and effectiveness of the organization.
