Josh and Tank have moved to Alaska where they explore woods near their homes hoping to see a moose or bear. Instead they become the hunted when they befriend a mysterious boy named alex. He and his uncle are hiding out under a witness protection program, but are being tracked by a gangster called Louie. After Alex and his uncle disappear one night, Josh and Tank leave on a wilderness fishing trip where they unexpectedly encounter Alex. He is being hotly pursued by Louis, who now adds Josh and Tank as his targets. The boys wildly flee through the brush with Louis closing in behind when they blunder into the path of a giant grizzly bear. The boys are now cut off behind and in front. Can Josh hurriedly figure out a way so the boys can escape from both the gangster and the bear?
