Patricia Leavy, Ph.D. (2002) in Sociology, Boston College, is Associate Professor of Sociology at Stonehill College. She is the Founding Director of the Gender Studies Program at Stonehill College (20042008) and the President of the New England Sociological Association (2009). She is the author of Iconic Events: Media, Politics, and Power in Retelling History, Method Meets Art: ArtsBased Research Practice and coauthor and coeditor of several research methods books.
