Dazu wird sich eine umfassende Analyse von hybriden Texten in postkolonialen Kontexten an eine theoretische Eingrenzung des Begriffs anschlieen. Es soll dann anhand eines konkreten literarischen Beispiels untersucht werden, inwiefern die herausgearbeiteten Beobachtungen aus einem postkolonialen Kontext auf einen allgemein literarischen bertragbar sind sowie ein Ausblick auf berlegungen zum bersetzen hybrider Texte gegeben werden. Bevor ich mit der Diskussion der Frage beginne, was ein hybrider Text ist, mchte ich zunchst einmal feststellen, dass der Begriff Hybriditt' bzw. hybrid' eine Vielzahl von Phnomenen beschreibt, die nicht ausschlielich in geisteswissenschaftlichen Themenkomplexen angesiedelt sind, dass Definitionen des Konzepts zumindest in geisteswissenschaftlichen Kontexten allerdings meist ausgespart werden und dies auch bei weitreichenderen Ausfhrungen, in denen Hybriditt eine zentrale Rolle spielt. Dies mag zum einen darauf zurckzufhren sein, dass der Begriff an sich nicht neu ist, wenngleich er auch einem anderen Wissenschaftszweig entstammt und genauer betrachtet erst ab dem 20. Jahrhundert gnzlich auf geisteswissenschaftlichem Terrain verortbar ist. [...] Zum anderen ist die Unschrfe, die den Begriff umgibt, typisch fr die postmodernen Strmungen des Poststrukturalismus und der Dekonstruktion, ber die er hauptschlich in einen geisteswissenschaftlichen Nexus Eingang gefunden hat.
