I Can Say, I Slept in Saudi Arabia!", is a true story based on diaries the author kept when she lived in Saudi Arabia with her husband in the mid 1980s. It tells how she was able to go there when her husband was offered a one year contract to work for their bus company, SAPTCO, and the contract stated, "No wife". This story tells how she managed to get there to live, and what she did when she got there. The chapter titles hint at the many experiences the author had; for instance, underground church services, prison ministery, safety, friends, shopping, etc. She wore the Saudi dress for women, (abaya and veil) and went out by herself and rode the bus. If you would like to know what it was like to live in Saudi Arabia back then, the land of mystique, you will enjoy this book.
