I enjoyed reading this book with a cup of tea on a rainy night. The ghost stories are well-written and transport you to another world. A couple of tales were a bit predictable, but I still had a great time!

As a fan of ghost stories, I'm always on the lookout for new reads. The Calico Series has not disappointed. 'I Was Alive Here Once' had me hooked, although some stories were better than others. Still glad I bought it!

The collection has some really creepy tales, but a few felt a bit too drawn out for my taste. I love ghost stories and this book has some gems! Just wish all the stories were as engaging as the best ones.

I picked up 'I Was Alive Here Once' from the Calico Series for our Halloween book club. The ghost stories are spine-tingling and perfect for setting a spooky mood. Highly recommend for anyone who loves a good scare!

Honestly, I was expecting more from this book based on the premise. Some stories were bland and the physical quality left something to be desired. The cover art looked cool online, but it’s underwhelming in person.
