In ber 80 Lndern der Welt sprach sie mit Menschen ber ihre Lebens und Arbeitsbedingungen, wohnte zeitweise mit ihnen, besuchte AidsKrankenhuser, LepraStationen und Waisenhuser. Sie arbeitete in den Einrichtungen mit und hospitierte in Universitten. Karin Engel untersttzt mit ihrem Verein INCA e.V. kleine, unbekannte soziale Projekte und bietet den Projektleitern Coachings an. Soziales Lernen steht im Vordergrund. Auerdem vermittelt der Verein sozial engagierten Menschen und Studenten Praktikumspltze in der Welt. Die Praktikumspltze sind selbst ausgewhlt und persnlich besucht worden.
