Uno de los problemas que se encuentran al estudiar impactos es que su anlisis se ve limitado a mediciones indirectas. Esto se debe a que muchas veces las colisiones no se desarrollan directamente sobre el sensor, o bien, no siempre se puede instrumentalizar el objeto de colisiona. Esto ocasiona que entre el sensor y el punto de impacto exista un medio de propagacin que distorsiona la seal medida. Este trabajo presenta un estudio sobre el problema de cmo compensar o reducir los efectos de las distorsiones producidas en el proceso de medicin. Para ello se investiga, por un lado, el proceso de impactos entre cuerpos rgidos, y por otra parte, se consideran tcnicas de procesado de seales aplicando redes neuronales artificiales.
