Leicht lassen sich solche biographischen Spuren in "Faserland" finden wie etwa die Zeit Krachts im Internat Salem. Bei einer Analyse der Erzhlsituation stellt sich jedoch die Frage wie wichtig dieser Umstand fr das Buch an sich ist. Ist dieses zwanghafte Suchen nach den Autorpersonalien nicht eher Boulevardjournalismus denn ernsthafte Rezension? Die Erzhlerfigur bleibt eine autonome literarische Figur, immer getrennt vom Autor, auch wenn die Bezge zur Realitt des Autors so ins Auge springen wie in diesem Fall. Die namenlose Hauptfigur in "Faserland" ist ein konstruierter Handlungstrger, der uns Einblicke in ein fiktives Geschehen vermittelt, welches uns durch eine gewissenhafte Rezeption die Mglichkeit bietet bestimmte gesellschaftliche Zusammenhnge zu erkennen. Als solche will ich diese Erzhlerfigur hier auch betrachten. Diese Untersuchung soll zeigen, wie es sich mit der Identifikation des Hauptakteurs in Krachts Roman verhlt und welche Schlsse aus der Konstruktion der Figur gezogen werden knnen. Dazu werde ich zunchst die Erzhlsituation nher beleuchten und im weiteren Verlauf die Sprache des Romans dahingehend untersuchen, welche Aufschlsse sie ber die Erzhlerfigur zult. Nchster Prfungspunkt soll die Plotstruktur sein, d.h. die verschiedenen Segmente, aus denen die Handlung zusammengesetzt ist. Eine Analyse der Konzeption des IchErzhlers und anderer Figuren soll schlielich die Erstellung der Identifikationsmechanismen der Erzhlerfigur in Faserland" vervollstndigen.
