This year, for the sixth time, the iF communication design award highlights international trends in communications. Communications design facilitates access to information, organizes content, and creates visual appeal virtually no other sector is so dynamic. As in previous years, the iF communication design award embraces that dynamism in 2009. Two new categories expand the spectrum of the internationally famous design prize. With the 'product interfaces' and 'packaging' categories, a platform is created for contributions that focus on user interfaces, retail and transport packaging, and displays. The iF yearbook communication offers an appreciation of the winners of the iF communication design award 2009 and a fascinating inside look at the world of communications design.
