Product Description "If I Could..." is a compilation of Biblical scripture taken from the King James Version of Gods Word and poetry by Paul McCutcheon. Even if you dont agree with the interpretation of Gods word, the poetry is very inspiring. Through the power of technology Pauls poems have been requested to help show others they are not alone in their grief. Paul uniquely combines the Word of God with his poetry taking a person through the steps leading to salvation and the gift of comfort God offers to all who grieve the loss of a loved one. Paul continues his journey through grief from the death of his three sons with a deep desire to help others learn how to cope with their grief. He knows that a person in grief from the loss of a child cannot "just get on with their life" yet he does know they can learn to cope with their grief. Pauls poetry reflects the feeling of his own grief and that of others. Pauls book also offers a list of organizations who dedicate their life to helping those who face a life of pain brought on by the death of a loved one. About the Author Paul D. McCutcheon was born on March 18, 1951 in Benton, Arkansas. He still resides there today. He surrendered to the ministry on Sept. 3, 1978 and ten days later was faced with his greatest test of faith. Two of his sons, 7 year old Darren and 4 year old Paul drowned in a flash flood when swept into a creek near his home. His oldest son, Kevin died on Nov 19, 1996 of a brain aneurysm. Paul knows the importance of strong faith and the power of prayer. He has been given the gift of poetry that expresses his faith and the feelings many other bereaved parents face today. Paul has a deep passion to help others who have faced the death of a loved one by showing them they are not alone in their journey of grief and sharing their life with others can bring comfort.
