Es ist dies ein Buch aus der Praxis fr die Praxis. Der Leser wird keine philosophische Abhandlung ber das Universittsmanagement finden. Viel zuoft sind unsere Erlebnisse, praktischen Erfahrungen und Ideen aus Ttigkeiten fr die Wirtschaftsuniversitt Wien eingeflossen. Unser erster Dank gebhrt all jenen, die mit ihren Anregungen und Handlungen unseren Erfahrungsschatz so ungemein bereichert haben. Allen voran danken wir Univ.Prof. Hans Robert Hansen, der seit Jahren unser strenger akademischer wie auch universittspolitischer Mentor ist. Ihm verdanken wir den Mut, unsere Gedanken niederzuschreiben und der ffentlichkeit vorzustellen. Wohl wren auch die meisten berlegungen nie ohne die intensive Arbeit und die endlosen Diskussionen mit unseren Freunden von der sterreichischen Hochschlerschaft geboren worden.
