These are poems inspired by the art and life story of the Mexican painter Frida Kahlo de Rivera, born Magdalena Carmen Frida Kahlo y Caldern. Frida found her passion for painting after a terrible accident left her prostrated in bed for several months. She painted mostly selfportraits, and her style was Surrealism or Magical Realism. Stefanie's poems are the inspiration of her musings on Frida Kahlo and her tumultuous relationship with the Mexican painter Diego Rivera. This poetry chapbook is a sweet tribute that praises the legendary artist Frida Kahlo.
