Mixeduse urban design projects in center cities are a complex undertaking. Numerous mixeduse developments are conceptualized each year, but few evolve into real projects and even fewer get finished. The analysis identifies the critical factors in public/private partnership promoting successful mixeduse projects in center cities. It should be especially useful to professionals in planning and design field in addition to policy makers and developers.
