The book is filled with incredible photographs by Mathew Brady, but I expected more context with the images. It’s a solid read for Civil War buffs like me, but maybe not for someone new to the topic. Still, worth having on my shelf!

Dissapointing Quality Control
I was excited to receive 'In the Wake of Battle', but it arrived with a damaged cover and some pages were bent. The images themselves are powerful, but I was bummed about the condition it showed up in. Hoping to get a replacement soon!
