The Relief Society "Monument to Women" at Nauvoo, Illinois, was created and erected as a tribute to all women. Thirteen lifesized sculptures, created by Dennis Smith and Florence Hansen, have been erected there in a majestic garden setting. Individually, the sculptures voice a statement on specific roles that women play. All of the 13 statues have been designed in counted crossstitch. Those designs have been published in three "In Tribute to Woman," "A Woman's Love," and "A Woman's Gifts." The five sculptures depicted in this book, "In Tribute to Woman," focus on the scope of a woman's influence. They "Family Circle," "Teaching with Love," "Woman in Prayer," "Joyful Moment," and "Woman." The book also contains alphabets, a finishedsize computation chart, a chart of approximate amount of thread used (in inches), and complete instructions, including information on framing and mounting.
