I thought this would be more of a straight-up action novel. While the plot about sea warfare was unique, some of the characters weren't very relatable. It was interesting, but I wanted more depth in character development.

A fresh perspective on war stories
Loved how Incident in Mona Passage brought a fresh twist to the war genre. The underwater battles were brilliantly depicted, and the tension kept building throughout. Great for anyone tired of typical land-based war novels!

Engaging underwater thriller!
Incident in Mona Passage completely hooked me from the start. The underwater setting combined with the war theme makes for a thrilling read. I really loved how the author described the ocean scenes; it felt so vivid and real!

Disappointed with the ending
I really liked the build-up in Incident in Mona Passage, but the ending felt rushed and unsatisfying. It had so much potential! Still, the exploration of underwater themes was quite captivating; just wished for a stronger conclusion.

Good read, but some parts dragged
I enjoyed the premise of Incident in Mona Passage, but there were a few chapters that felt a bit slow. The concept of underwater warfare is fascinating, though, and it kept me turning pages. Worth a read if you like military fiction!
