This book has been years in the preparation, and every effort has been made to find interesting photographs or other representational materials from every era of the University's life. It has been said that a picture is worth a thousand words. If that is so, this volume is the equivalent of some 400,000 words. This lavish book, which includes 64 pages of fullcolor images, is a treasure trove of the University's past as well as a celebration of the contemporary scene. In addition to the pictures, a concise introduction presents an outline of the University's history; detailed captions bring further information and insights to the story.
