Wolfgang Meyer diskutiert die mit einer solchen Interpretation verbundenen Annahmen kritisch und beschreibt auf der Basis von Strukturdaten die Vernderungen des Erwerbssystems zwischen 1990 und 1994. Lngsschnittanalysen zu den individuellen Risiken des Erwerbsstatusverlustes und den Chancen einer Wiederbeschftigung in dem Zeitraum belegen die durch den wirtschaftlichen Umbau ausgelsten zeitlich und sozial differenzierenden Effekte. Es wird deutlich, da die individuellen Erwerbschancen weniger durch den wirtschaftlichen Leistungs als den Systemunterschied geprgt worden sind. About the Author Dr. Wolfgang Meyer studierte Soziologie und Politische Wissenschaft an der Universitt Mannheim. Er ist wissenschaftlicher Mitarbeiter an der Philosophischen Fakultt der Technischen Universitt ChemnitzZwickau, wo er mit der hier angezeigten Arbeit auch promovierte.
