This book aims on the automation of industrial processes and the implementation of SCADA system. This book provides a mechanism for an industrial system that monitors boiler's water level, temperature and pressure through sensors which provide input to the Controller. The Controller sends these inputs to the computer. On the computer this data is presented on a software Lab view (used as a GUI). The software takes decisions and sends signals to controller. The controller in turn controls the outputs accordingly. All temperature, level and pressure variations are shown on GUI and are controlled through GUI. For the purpose of security different alarms are used to alert the concerned authorities. Pressure relief valve is used to release extra pressure in case pressure exceeds the safety limit.
