The workers in the industries are subjected to exposure of different pollutions. An industry, be its size larger or smaller and highly polluting or nonpolluting, does have significant influence on the employees experience of pollutants. Moreover, the environmental awareness training and workshop has become part of the working condition. However there is large amount of difference in the implementation of environmental awareness programmes in the organizations depending upon the firm size. It appears that the smaller size firms do have little or no environmental awareness programmes in the organization.The employees of these industries are expected to have lower level of awareness and attitude towards internal and external environmental pollution problems. Hence, it was expected in the present study that workers awareness about general environmental pollutions and related issues would be influenced by the personal experience and their awareness of industrial pollutants.
