I found this book tough to get through. The structure could be a bit clearer, and I struggled with some of the more complex sections on decision analysis. Not what I expected from Wiley. Disappointed!

I picked up this book from the Wiley series for my statistics class, and it’s been a lifesaver. The sections on belief nets and decision analysis are really insightful. It’s well-organized and easy to follow, even for a newbie like me.

Helpful but Needs a Few Updates
This book covers a lot of good ground on influence diagrams, but I felt some examples were a bit dated. It’s still valuable for understanding concepts in probability and statistics, just wish it had some more recent case studies or applications.
