El cumplimiento del servicio militar ha sido una de las etapas en la que un joven poda afrontar un tipo de vida muy distinta, conlleva un cambio importante al integrarse en un contexto distinto en el que haba vivido. Este cambio de contexto, ha sido interpretado histricamente de forma distinta, ya que cuando exista el servicio militar obligatorio lleg a ser una situacin por la que el joven deba pasar para poder tratarle como adulto. Este trabajo intenta hacer una revisin bibliogrfica, no slo estudiando los cambios que otros investigadores han observado, sino tambin comprobando mediante un estudio emprico los cambios de personalidad y las posibles soluciones a tomar en caso de inadaptacin al medio militar.
