In an Open and Distance Learning (ODL) Mode, students are provided with printed and electronic study materials throughout their duration of their studies. There is a need to impart information literacy skills to students which help them optimize the available eresources of the library at any point with Internet connectivity. This book recommends that, IL skills programme be incorporated in the university curriculum and made compulsory to all distance learners. The issues of plagiarism, counterfeiting and replication of research works will be minimized.
