Sus propsitos son proveer valor (econmico, tecnolgico, ambiental, entre otros), desarrollar mecanismos para generar este valor mediante la utilizacin diferente de los recursos disponibles, capitalizar las ideas y conceptos que se generan dentro de una organizacin y orientarlos hacia la obtencin de resultados sostenidos. Al enfrentar este proceso de manera sistmica, deben combinarse ciencia, tecnologa y el factor humano. Esta necesidad condujo a la integracin del enfoque y herramientas de los modelos de innovacin de 5 generacin y la teora TRIZ. En esta conjuncin, se crea una dimensin colectiva del proceso de innovacin donde la teora TRIZ ofrece los conceptos y herramientas necesarias para resolver los problemas intrnsecos. El modelo se implement en la industria del vidrio mediante una Web colaborativa.
