El tema de investigacin Integral de lnea como una suma de productos punto nace de la aplicacin del clculo integral en el contexto de electricidad y magnetismo. La Integral de Lnea, que se estudia aisladamente en clculo, posiblemente se puede comprender mejor en el contexto de algunos temas que se estudian en electricidad y magnetismo, como es el potencial elctrico. El reto consiste en trabajar con alumnos cuyo historial epistemolgico es del corte tradicional, intentar un cambio en la instruccin, observar los efectos que ste produce en los estudiantes y si despus de esta instruccin son capaces de aplicarlo en otros contextos.
