Fur einen Fertigungsbetrieb folgt hieraus, daB die Datenverarbeitung sowohl in der Ferti gung mit ihren Fertigungsmitteln als auch in den der Fertigung vor und nachgelagerten Bereichen eingesetzt wird. Mit der Einfuhrung von numerisch gesteuerten (NC, numerical control) Fertigungseinheiten, bestehend aus numerischer Steue rung und Werkzeugmaschine, ist die Grundlage fur die Einfuhrung von Datenverarbeitungsanlagen in der Fertigung mit ihren Fer tigungsmitteln geschaffen. Die Entwicklungen der numerischen Steuerungen sind in letzter Zeit durch den vermehrten Einsatz von ProzeBrechnern und Mikroprozessoren gekennzeichnet. Fur die der Fertigung vor und nachgelagerten Bereiche inner halb einer integrierten Verarbeitung gilt es, den Informa tionsfluB im Rechner abzubilden. Grundkomponenten bei der Realisierung sind Programme und Daten. Die Aufgaben der ein zelnen Betriebsbereiche mussen dabei systematisiert und in Algorithmen dargestellt werden. Die dazu notwendigen Daten mussen gespeichert und verwaltet werden, so daB sie fUr un terschiedliche Betriebsbereiche zuganglich sind.
