In this regard, this book attempts to throw light into this slightly investigated issue so far. The book contextually analyzes the AmharaAfar interethnic conflict in Kewot and SemurobiGela'alo areas. It also systematically identifies the structural, proximate and triggering causes of the conflcit in the study area. Depicting the historical contexts of the conflict management and resolution processes in the area is also endeavored in the book. In the main, the book analyzes the conflict transformation attempts in the area. The wideranging strong and feeble sides of the transformation practice are identified. Finally, the book forwards some recommendations that are presumed to take the practice to a higher level of success.
