Der Tagungsband versammelt Beitrge von 44 Autorinnen und Autoren aus China, Deutschland, der Schweiz, sterreich und Japan. Insgesamt bieten diese aus der Sicht verschiedener Disziplinen und Kulturen ein umfassendes und zugleich differenziertes Bild des Gesamtthemas. Sie liefern Anregungen fr weitere Forschungsarbeiten, sie geben Anlass zum Nachdenken, zu Widerspruch und Kritik, zur Umsetzung der Ergebnisse in den DaFUnterricht und die interkulturelle Kommunikationspraxis, in China und auch anderswo. Die einzelnen Beitrge beschreiben Kommunikationsablufe und defizite, ergrnden Kommunikationsschwierigkeiten und versuchen Wege aufzuzeigen, wie sowohl generell als konkret auf verschiedenen Arbeits und Aufgabenfeldern interkulturelle Kommunikationsprobleme zu berwinden sind und das Zusammentreffen verschiedener Kulturen reibungsloser gestaltet werden kann.
