Interleukin(IL)22 ist ein im Jahr 2000 entdecktes Zytokin und zhlt zusammen mit den lange bekannten Interferonen und IL10 sowie den krzlich identifizierten Zytokinen IL19, IL20, IL24, IL26, IL28alpha/beta und IL29 zur sogenannten IL10InterferonFamilie. Trotz der auf strukturellen Gemeinsamkeiten basierenden Zuordnung zu einer gemeinsamen ZytokinFamilie unterscheiden sich die Mitglieder hinsichtlich ihrer biologischen Rolle. Whrend diese fr die Interferone und IL10 bereits weitgehend aufgeklrt ist, wei man ber die erst krzlich beschriebenen Mitglieder noch verhltnismig wenig. Die vorliegende Arbeit beschftigt sich mit der biologischen Rolle von IL22 und des lslichen IL22Rezeptors IL22BP und darauf basierend mit deren mglicher Bedeutung bei den zwei hufigen, aktuell nicht heilbaren, chronischentzndlichen Erkrankungen Psoriasis und Morbus Crohn.
